The idea of Vetalon...

Dr. Vizi Zsuzsanna, Dipl. ECVIM-CA

I graduated in 2004 on the University of Veterinary Medicine and since 2005 I have been an active clinician, educator of the Department of Internal Medicine. Since 2013 I have been working as the Leader of the Intensive Care Unit and the Internal Medicine Hospital.

Between 2009-2013 I spent 4 years as a resident of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the Veterinary Faculty in Hannover / Germany and in 2021 I became a graduated Diplomate of this nobel society.

I do love my main job and my team in the University, but the idea of this praxis came through because I dreamed a calm, relaxed and cosy environment to ensure consultations for patients seeking for my help and advise.

Considering my degrees and clinical experience I deal with almost every specialties of the internal medicine of cats and dogs, mainly with a holistic approach.

My goal is that during the consultations and treatment sessions both the four-legged patients and their owner feel safe and convenient and I look for those compromises that creates a win-win situation for everyone.

I do prefer cat-friendly handling of feline patients.

I have been learning every day about my patients and from my patients, including my own dog, Bodza, who has a congenital vascular liver abnormality but she makes me happy everyday since almost 5 years. :-)
